Last gig of the year...

November has already crept upon us and within a blink of an eye we're writing this on the eve of our last gig of the year - The Paper Chase supported by Ex Libras and On Histories of Rosenberg at the Lexington (London). In terms of gigs, we've changed our tact this year, preferring quality over quantity. This allowed us to create the PR arm of the company, which has already proved itself to be highly successful this year.

We're feeling pretty relaxed about this one so far (famous last words? We hope not!). We've already sold all our cheap tickets but there are still £7 tickets available on the door. We're really excited about seeing The Paper Chase - we promoted their London show last year at The Metro (RIP) in central London. Ex Libras as main support will be the perfect calm before The Paper Chase's visceral jaunt-rock. Plus there's the post-rock leanings of On Histories of Rosenberg to look forward to as openers. We've not seen them live yet but we were lucky enough to PR their last self-titled EP release through Function Records. Our good friends Steve and Chris Wheeler will also be hitting the decks (as the "Wheels of Steel" perhaps?) spinning some fine, fine tunes.

If you want to listen to Ex Libras or On Histories of Rosenberg before the gig tomorrow, just check our official website.

We'll be updating with pictures and reports from the gig in the next few days.

Well, that's it for now! It's set to be another busy week here at ABoF Towers with this gig tomorrow evening, a plethora of new clients and some fun stuff planned as well - our good friends Biffy are set to rock Brixton on Thurs and there's yet another 30th birthday do at the end of the week. Let's hope the last few months of the year are fun-filled and packed with goodness for one and all!

Peaceout - ABoF x
